Market Reactor

A market regime indicator for TradingView: volatility, the daily range left, trend strength, and directional pressure in one panel, summed up in three plain-word verdicts and calibrated to your market and interval.

  • Four readings, three verdicts: PULSE, FUEL, DRIVE, and FLOW add up to BIAS, TREND STATE, and MARKET MODE.
  • Volatility ranked against the instrument's own history, and a daily range budget built from completed days only.
  • Six alerts on bar close, and verdicts that hold their ground instead of flickering on noise.

What is Market Reactor?

Market Reactor is a market regime indicator for TradingView from the supersmart.money IQ family. One panel ranks volatility against the instrument's own history, shows how much of the average daily range, built from completed days, is left today, and measures trend strength and directional pressure. Three plain-word verdicts sum it up, and alerts fire on bar close.

Trending vs ranging market: one panel instead of four windows

Is the market moving, is there room left in the day, is there a trend, and which side is pressing? Most charts answer with four tools on four scales: raw volatility that reads differently on gold and on EUR/USD, a daily range average that can include the forming day, and a trend-strength line with no direction. You still can't tell what kind of market this is.

Market Reactor checks before it speaks. PULSE is a rank against the instrument's own history, so one number means the same on every market. BIAS and TREND STATE change only after a clear move back through a level, and with too little history the panel says CALIBRATING instead of guessing. It is calibrated and tested over hundreds of hours on historical charts of the most traded markets. Learn the concept: trending or chopping — how to tell.

What's on the chart

  1. 01

    Four readings, one panel

Segmented bars in one corner, wide or tall; nothing else is drawn on the price chart.

  2. 02

    Volatility indicator on one scale

PULSE ranks the current ATR 0–100 against the instrument's own history, with an ACTIVITY word from DORMANT to EXPLOSIVE. Gold, EUR/USD, and Bitcoin share one scale.

  3. 03

ADR indicator as a daily budget

FUEL shows the unused share of the average daily range, from FULL to DEPLETED. Past 100 % it names the day EXTENDED, OVEREXTENDED, or EXTREME RANGE.

  4. 04

Trend strength indicator with an arrow

DRIVE shows ADX from 0 to 100 with an arrow: ↑ building, → flat, ↓ fading.

  5. 05

    Directional pressure

FLOW sets buyers against sellers from −100 to +100; a neutral zone keeps small swings grey.

  6. 06

    Three verdicts in plain words

BIAS from BULLISH to BEARISH, with LEAN while strength is missing; a six-step TREND STATE ladder; and MARKET MODE.

  7. 07

    Nine market modes

TREND EXPANSION, IGNITION, TREND CONTINUATION, HIGH-ENERGY RANGE, COMPRESSION, LOW-ENERGY CHOP, DIRECTIONAL EXHAUSTION, EXTREME RANGE, and TRANSITION: one per bar.

  8. 08

    Six alerts on bar close

Activity Expansion, Trend Ignition, Trend Expansion, Low ADR Fuel, Directional Shift, and Directional Exhaustion.

  9. 09

How it decides

  1. Rank, not raw.

PULSE compares volatility with the instrument's own history, not with a fixed number.

  2. Completed days only.

The daily range baseline comes from closed daily bars; the forming day never enters it.

  3. Strength apart from direction.

DRIVE says how strong, FLOW which side; BIAS reads LEAN until strength reaches the full-confidence level.

  4. Hold the ground.

BIAS and TREND STATE change only after a clear move back through a level, so they do not flicker on noise.

  5. One verdict, or none yet.

MARKET MODE checks its modes in a fixed order and the first match wins. Short history reads CALIBRATING; alerts wait for the confirmed close.

Built on IQ — Intelligent Quantitative

Every indicator in the family stands on the same foundation, so it reads the chart the moment you add it — and your time goes into the market, not the settings panel.

In Market Reactor, Auto-Timeframe Mode maps your interval to one of 10 buckets and, with the market profile you pick — gold and silver, major currency pairs, or all other markets — sets all 26 measurement values;
Manual
hands them to you.

  • Auto-Timeframe, on by default

Your chart interval picks a calibration profile tuned over hundreds of hours of testing on historical charts of the most traded markets — gold, oil, major currency pairs, indices, stocks and crypto. Change the interval and the indicator re-tunes itself.

  • Manual Mode for experts

Every value the calibration sets is also a setting of yours. Full control, nothing locked behind the automation.

  • Dark and Light, automatically

The indicator reads your chart background and switches colours and transparency on its own. Line weights and text sizes are set by role.

  • One family, one visual language

The same concept wears the same colour in every indicator. Combined, they divide the chart instead of duplicating it.

  • Honest by construction

Events print on bar close, closed windows stay frozen, and the data behind a reading is graded or labelled. No profit promises and no hidden guesses: when the data cannot support a reading, the indicator says so.

Watch Market Reactor read the market

Gold, crude oil, and GBP/USD: reading the bars and verdicts, an alert confirmed on the close, and the calibration re-tuning on a new interval. Historical chart replay, default settings.

Use cases

Closed historical charts. Educational examples, not trade recommendations.

Gold 5-minute chart in the London morning: MARKET MODE reads IGNITION, DRIVE is rising and the FUEL bar is still long
IGNITION while most of the day's typical range is still unused.

Gold · 5m · London morning: IGNITION

What you read MARKET MODE turns IGNITION on a closed candle: ACTIVITY BUILDING ↑, DRIVE ↑, FLOW out of its neutral zone, FUEL still HIGH or FULL.

How to use it activity, strength, and pressure start together while most of the day's typical range is unused; BIAS may still read LEAN.

WTI crude oil 15-minute chart: PULSE high, DRIVE low, FLOW at zero and MARKET MODE reading HIGH-ENERGY RANGE
High activity, no trend: a long PULSE bar next to a short DRIVE bar.

WTI crude oil · 15m · New York morning: HIGH-ENERGY RANGE

What you read a long PULSE bar beside a short DRIVE bar, FLOW at its centre mark, BIAS NEUTRAL.

How to use it the market moves more than usual without sustained direction, so a busy chart is not mistaken for a trend.

EUR/USD 15-minute chart before the London open: PULSE low, BIAS NEUTRAL and MARKET MODE reading COMPRESSION
A short PULSE bar and an empty FLOW gauge.

EUR/USD · 15m · before London: COMPRESSION

What you read PULSE low in its own history, NO TREND, BIAS NEUTRAL; the footer names the Forex profile.

How to use it a quiet, contracting market is named as such. It does not say when, or which way, activity returns. Learn the concept: Asian session range.

EUR/USD 4-hour chart with BIAS reading BULLISH LEAN and TREND STATE FORMING with a rising arrow: direction, not yet strength
Direction is present; strength is still climbing the ladder.

EUR/USD · 4h · swing: BULLISH LEAN, FORMING ↑

What you read FLOW on the bullish side, DRIVE short but rising.

How to use it direction is present while strength climbs the ladder; LEAN drops once DRIVE reaches the full-confidence level.

Divide the chart instead of duplicating it

Market Reactor answers the question the rest of the family leaves open: what kind of market is this? Structure, liquidity, sessions, and killzones come from the SMC and ICT tools. Read the context first, then let them show where and when. Nothing needs switching off: Market Reactor draws only its panel.

Divide the chart instead of duplicating it

  • Market Reactor + Complete Smart Money Concepts 2027 — Complete Smart Money Concepts 2027 draws structure, liquidity, order blocks, and gaps with a session clock.
  • Market Reactor + Complete ICT 2027 — Complete ICT 2027 maps killzones, liquidity, and PD arrays; its Context Dashboard starts bottom centre, clear of Market Reactor's corner.
  • Market Reactor + Sessions, Killzones & PO3 — Market Reactor keeps no session clock.
  • Market Reactor + Momentum & Structure Oscillator — Momentum and Structure Oscillator reads pace and distance from the extremes in its own pane.
  • Smart money concepts indicator

Complete Smart Money Concepts 2027 draws structure, liquidity, order blocks, and gaps with a session clock. Both panels start bottom left, so set Market Reactor's HUD Position to Top Right.

  • ICT indicator TradingView

Complete ICT 2027 maps killzones, liquidity, and PD arrays; its Context Dashboard starts bottom centre, clear of Market Reactor's corner.

  • ICT killzones indicator TradingView

Market Reactor keeps no session clock. Sessions, ICT Killzones, PO3 with Key Levels and Volume Profile adds when; Market Reactor adds what kind.

  • Momentum oscillator TradingView

Momentum and Structure Oscillator reads pace and distance from the extremes in its own pane. Market Reactor names the market state; the oscillator shows whether momentum inside it is building or fading. Its Bias Index and Market Reactor's FLOW both read directional pressure, so choose another engine (Stochastic, Stoch RSI, MACD or Structure) when both are on the chart.
