Read activity, remaining range, trend strength and directional pressure through PULSE, FUEL, DRIVE and FLOW in one TradingView market-state panel.
Four dimensions of market condition. One decision context.
SSM IQ Reactor reads four dimensions of market condition — activity, remaining daily range, trend strength and directional pressure — and reports them as one heads-up display. No lines, no boxes, no clutter on your price chart. Just a panel that tells you, in plain words, what kind of market you're looking at right now. One panel replaces the four separate indicators you'd otherwise need to answer "is this market worth trading right now" — calibrated to your instrument and timeframe, with every alert and telemetry message waiting for the candle to close.

A trader who wants a genuine read of current market conditions typically has to run several separate indicators — one for volatility, one for trend strength, one for daily range, one for directional bias — each on its own scale, each requiring separate interpretation under time pressure. The result: more chart windows, more mental reconciliation, and no single, honest answer to the question that actually matters before placing a trade — "is this a market worth engaging with right now, and on which side?" Many condition indicators compound the problem by reducing all of that to a single unexplained line, or a "score" whose composition is never disclosed — leaving the trader to trust a number without understanding what built it.
Most condition indicators give you a single line and leave the interpretation to you, or bundle a "score" whose composition you're never told. SSM IQ Reactor does neither.
A market can be powerfully trending and still be one you should not be entering. Reading trend strength and directional pressure separately is the difference between "there is a trend" and "there is a trend, and it is going my way, and the day still has room for it."
When it has not gathered enough history, it says so — and shows how far along it is — instead of displaying a confident number built on nothing.
One hover on the footer reveals every parameter the auto-calibration chose for your exact chart. Nothing about your own tool is hidden from you.
No lines, no boxes, no labels competing with your analysis. It sits alongside whatever else you already have open — your structure markup, your levels, your other indicators — without touching a single pixel of your price panel.
It describes conditions. What you do with that description is your method, not the indicator's opinion.
MARKET MODE names the difference other indicators blur into one line.
The same kind of session, two different MARKET MODE readings — because activity without direction and activity with a real trend behind it are two different situations, not one.

What it is: a read of how active the market is right now, measured against that instrument's own recent history. What it tells you: a 0–100 activity reading, plus whether activity is building or cooling, in named states from DORMANT through EXPLOSIVE. Why it matters: a straight answer to "is this worth trading right now" instead of a raw volatility number that means something different on every symbol.
What it is: a live gauge of how much of the instrument's typical daily range is still available (intraday only). What it tells you: a 0–100 "remaining fuel" reading with named states from FULL through EXTREME RANGE; on daily and weekly charts the panel says plainly that the concept doesn't apply. Why it matters: the practical difference between joining a move and chasing one.
What it is: a read of how strong the current trend actually is. What it tells you: a 0–100 trend-strength reading feeding a six-rung ladder from NO TREND to EXTREME, with a rising/flat/falling arrow. Why it matters: the reading fades naturally once a market genuinely loses direction, instead of freezing on a stale value.
What it is: a read of which side — buyers or sellers — currently has the upper hand, on a −100 to +100 scale. What it tells you: feeds the BIAS verdict and stays neutral through small back-and-forth ticks. Why it matters: strength and direction are different questions — reading them separately tells you exactly which situation you're in.
What it is: one label naming the overall type of market you're looking at, built by combining all four engines. What it tells you: a single named regime such as IGNITION, COMPRESSION, TREND EXPANSION or LOW-ENERGY CHOP — never ambiguous. Why it matters: one consistent label instead of re-reading four gauges every time.
What it is: six named TradingView alert conditions, plus an optional structured data feed (SSM IQ AI Telemetry) for automations and AI tools. What it tells you: notifications when activity expands, a trend ignites or expands, daily fuel runs low, direction shifts, or a trend runs out of steam — each on a closed candle only. Why it matters: real, confirmed condition changes, never an intrabar flicker — and the same events can feed your own automated workflow if you want that.

Illustrative scenario, not a real historical trade.

BIAS, TREND STATE and MARKET MODE say in words what the four gauges mean together.
You read a sentence, not a dashboard — and one hover on the footer shows exactly which parameters produced it.

Auto (all editions). Select a market category — Metals · Gold/Silver, Forex · Majors, or All Other Markets — and the panel resolves every underlying measurement parameter for you, automatically re-tuned to your chart's timeframe. This is the default and only mode in the Lite edition. Manual (full edition only). Selecting the Manual profile unlocks direct control of every measurement input across the PULSE, FUEL, DRIVE, FLOW and Market State groups. In every auto profile, those same inputs are visibly greyed out in the settings dialog, so it's always obvious which mode is active. Two settings — the ADR data source and the Market Mode toggle — stay adjustable regardless of profile. The three auto profiles are sensible, engineering-derived starting points, not the output of empirical backtesting on live results — a defensible baseline to validate against your own instrument's behaviour, and refine through Manual mode where warranted.

Both editions share identical engines, verdicts, alerts, telemetry and visual customization. The difference is how much hands-on control you want.
Everything in Lite, plus the Manual profile — direct control of every measurement input across PULSE, FUEL, DRIVE, FLOW and Market State — and a choice of ADR data source (Self-Built · Local History or HTF Confirmed · Instant).
No technical parameters at all — three auto market profiles only, full visual customization, and the ADR source fixed to the instant, HTF-confirmed option so calibration never requires a decision.
Two layouts — a tall column or a wide low strip. Nine anchor positions. Four scale steps. Independent horizontal/vertical offsets. Show/hide toggles for the title, Market Mode line, reference values and profile footer. Full Dark/Light theming — not a background swap, every color adapts. An optional panel-background color/transparency override. Alerts and telemetry are independently toggled, with a dedicated telemetry mode (Off/Fast/Full).
SSM IQ Reactor draws exactly one HUD table and zero price-panel objects, so it never competes for space or layering with anything else on your chart — including other SSM IQ tools that mark up price structure, liquidity or sessions. Run it next to a structure- or liquidity-focused SSM IQ indicator to get both a condition filter and price-level context at once, without either one visually crowding the other.
TradingView platform, invite-only distribution. The six named alert conditions and the SSM IQ AI Telemetry channel each require the user to create a TradingView alert on the indicator (a standard alert condition for the former, the "Any alert() function call" condition for the latter). Without a created alert, no notification and no telemetry message leaves the script — that's TradingView platform behaviour, not a product limitation. Whether a specific paid TradingView plan tier is required to use alerts is governed by TradingView's own account limits, independent of this indicator.
Stated plainly, because SSM IQ Reactor is honest about what it is and isn't.
N/A / UNSUPPORTED TF) rather than showing a number that wouldn't mean anything. It measures the market directly from raw price data, then runs those measurements through rules-based logic to produce its verdicts — never a black-box score.
Both share identical engines, verdicts, alerts, telemetry and visual customization. The full edition adds Manual mode — direct control of every measurement parameter — and a choice of ADR data source. The Lite edition removes all technical settings and fixes the ADR source to the instant, HTF-confirmed option.
In Auto (Metals, Forex or All Other Markets), every measurement parameter is resolved automatically and re-tuned to your chart's timeframe. Manual (full edition only) unlocks those same parameters for direct, hands-on control.
Yes — any instrument chartable on TradingView. The Market Profile setting lets you choose the closest-matching calibration family (Metals, Forex, or All Other Markets) for the instrument you're trading; it's a setting you choose, not something the indicator detects automatically from the symbol.
Scalping is not a specific use case this product claims. The timeframe-bucket matrix does extend down to a 1-second-to-1-minute bucket, so the engines are calibrated at that resolution — but that's calibration coverage, not a scalping endorsement.
No. It is an educational and analytical tool that describes present market condition. It has no order-execution capability and no predictive plan engine.
TradingView Premium is not required by the indicator itself — alert creation and usage are governed by your TradingView plan, so check TradingView's own current plan limits.
Add SSM IQ Reactor to your chart and stop reconciling four separate indicators under time pressure.
Educational and analytical tool — not financial advice, and it never places, modifies or closes an order.
