Every view recalibrates itself as you change timeframe, so "overbought" doesn't quietly stop meaning anything the moment you switch from a daily chart to a 5-minute one. A 1-hour chart reproduces the textbook classic settings exactly; every other timeframe scales from there consistently. Two Bias Index settings (the ones behind the impulse-exhaustion context) are deliberately left out of this automatic scaling, because they're meant to stay comparable across timeframes rather than adapt to them.
Manual Mode exposes every active-engine parameter directly. It's required for tick charts, which don't have a time equivalent for Auto-Timeframe to calibrate against, and it's available any time you want a deliberately non-standard setup.

Settings are grouped in the order a reading is actually built — engine and calibration source, active engine parameters, volume weighting, background histogram, companion gauge, projection paths, style, and telemetry — so the dialog never shows a control that would do nothing for your current engine. Built-in checks catch contradictory manual settings and explain, in plain language, what needs to change instead of silently breaking the chart.
Two lower-profile options round out customization: optional volume-weighted smoothing (off by default, useful on instruments with genuinely traded exchange volume like futures and crypto) and optional telemetry export (a versioned data channel that can feed a trading journal, database, or AI review layer automatically).
