How It Works

Pick an engine from the dropdown. With Auto-Timeframe on, its parameters resolve automatically from your chart's own timeframe, using a documented, inspectable rule rather than a hidden black box.

From there, the companion gauge, the background histogram, confirmed cross markers, and the optional Projection Paths module all read from the same two published lines, so switching engines never breaks the rest of your setup.

What Happened
Over the course of the run, bull-camp pressure builds steadily while the bear-camp stack stays compressed near zero. Several bars later, the bull camp's pressure peaks just above the adaptive Impulse Boundary while still dominant over the bear camp.
What The Indicator Showed
The Bias Index engine displays the two camp stacks separately rather than netting them into one number, with Bias Balance reading strongly positive on the Companion Gauge. One bar after the peak, a confirmed Impulse Exhaustion character appears — a confirmed observation that this particular impulse has, for now, stopped expanding. A Projection Paths band, drawn from the trend's own earlier confirmed trigger, shows the measured percentile travel of comparable past BTCUSD up-trends on this exact timeframe.

Auto-Timeframe Mode (default on) resolves every engine parameter from your chart's own timeframe — from 1-minute charts through daily and above — using one shared, documented rule. A 1-hour chart reproduces the textbook classic settings exactly; every other timeframe scales from there consistently. Two Bias Index settings (the ones behind the impulse-exhaustion context) are deliberately left out of this automatic scaling, because they're meant to stay comparable across timeframes rather than adapt to them.

Manual Mode exposes every active-engine parameter directly. It's required for tick charts, which don't have a time equivalent for Auto-Timeframe to calibrate against, and it's available any time you want a deliberately non-standard setup.

Every Setting in the Order You'd Actually Use It

Settings are grouped in the order a reading is actually built — engine and calibration source, active engine parameters, volume weighting, background histogram, companion gauge, projection paths, style, and telemetry — so the dialog never shows a control that would do nothing for your current engine. Built-in checks catch contradictory manual settings and explain, in plain language, what needs to change instead of silently breaking the chart.

Two lower-profile options round out customization: optional volume-weighted smoothing (off by default, useful on instruments with genuinely traded exchange volume like futures and crypto) and optional telemetry export (a versioned data channel that can feed a trading journal, database, or AI review layer automatically).
