SSM IQ Volume Activity Map reads volume profile, value area, activity zones, VWAP and Fibonacci as one connected picture instead of separate scripts each guessing at "the relevant period" on its own. Every level you see can be traced back to the window it was actually measured over, so you know not just where a line sits, but why. Volume shows you where business really happened. Node evidence shows you which of those areas the market has actually defended. Confluence shows you where independent layers agree — so you spend your attention on the levels that have earned it.

Volume profile, VWAP and Fibonacci are usually run as separate scripts on the same chart, each with its own unstated idea of "the relevant period." A profile measuring an arbitrary lookback, a VWAP anchored to session open, and a Fibonacci grid drawn from a random swing routinely produce levels that contradict each other — not because the market is unclear, but because the tools were never looking at the same window in the first place. Traders end up reconciling several disagreeing scripts by eye instead of reading one coherent picture.
Many volume tools draw a profile and stop there, leaving VWAP and Fibonacci to separate scripts measuring a different, unstated period. Volume Activity Map resolves all three from one coordinated anchor architecture and stays explicit — on the chart — about exactly which window produced each level.

Confluence markers show where the profile, the anchored VWAP and the Fibonacci grid — three independently computed layers — line up on the same price. That agreement is worth more than any one layer alone.

What it is: a volume histogram built across the chosen reference window, in Gradient or Classic style. Benefit: shows exactly where volume traded and how concentrated it was. Why it matters: locate the Point of Control before deciding whether a pullback is likely to hold.
What it is: the price band around the Point of Control that contains most of the profile's volume. Benefit: one fast situational read — above, inside or below where business actually got done. Why it matters: fade the edges of value on a range day, or respect a breakout that clears the value area with conviction.
What it is: high-volume shelves grouped into zones, low-volume rows flagged as gaps, each qualifying zone scored on evidence. Benefit: tells you which levels have actually been defended, not just where volume happened to print. Why it matters: weight a reaction at a well-evidenced zone differently from one that's still untested.
What it is: flags candles where an unusual burst of underlying volume was absorbed without producing a proportional price move. Benefit: an extra, honestly-labelled data point about unusual activity — explicitly a heuristic. Why it matters: note absorption near an existing zone or value-area boundary as one more piece of context.
What it is: volume-weighted fair value accumulated from the module's own anchor, with multiple deviation band pairs. Benefit: shows fair value and how far price has stretched from it. Why it matters: watch how price behaves relative to VWAP and its bands as the session develops.
What it is: retracement and extension levels measured on the anchor's own high-low range, only drawn when that range is actually meaningful. Benefit: no grid cluttering the chart on a move too small to matter. Why it matters: read retracement levels of the same window the profile and VWAP are already describing.
Start with the value area — above, inside or below is the fastest situational read the map gives you. Check the Point of Control and the nearest activity zones next. Weigh the node score on any zone you're tracking: high means volume mass, shelf width and real retest history all agree; low means it's mostly geometry so far. Use confluence markers to spot where several independently-computed layers agree on one price. Optionally watch the Volume Absorption Radar as one more honestly-labelled data point. Switch anchors when the analysis calls for a different reference window.

Activity zones are scored on volume mass, shelf width and confirmed retests. When price returns to a previously-defended shelf and reacts, the zone's node score is the difference between "this has held before" and "this is untested."

Two independent controls, both defaulting to Auto. Settings Mode governs the numeric engine — resolution, data source, absorption sensitivity — automatically for the chart you're on, or manually in Full for hands-on tuning. Anchor Period governs which reference window each module uses — Optimal lets the profile, VWAP and Fibonacci each resolve the window that fits them best, while an explicit choice applies one anchor everywhere. Lite stays on Auto for both; Full can be tuned on either or both.

Lite is built for speed: proven defaults, Auto-Timeframe throughout, and fewer decisions before you're reading the chart. Turn it on and it configures itself for the instrument and timeframe you're already on. Full carries the same underlying analytical model with the controls opened up: manual calibration, per-module anchor selection, and additional filters for traders who want to tune the map to their own workflow. The numbers underneath are identical either way — Full simply hands you more of the dials.
Auto-Timeframe only, nothing to configure, same underlying levels, smaller set of visual choices. Best for: traders who want a correctly-configured map with nothing to administer.
Adds Manual Settings Mode and per-module Manual anchors, exact profile resolution and value-area percentage, absorption sensitivity tuning, individually toggleable Fibonacci levels, full SSM IQ AI Telemetry payload. Best for: traders and systematic users who want direct control and the machine-readable feed.
Histogram style (Gradient or Classic), zone fill strength, and Dark/Light theme are purely presentational — the levels underneath never change regardless of which look you choose. Zone sensitivity, absorption thresholds and node/confluence filters (Full) let the map match how selective you want it to be.

Volume Activity Map is deliberately scoped to volume, value and structural-retracement context — it does not draw moving averages, a trend channel, killzone visuals or previous-range rays, so it won't duplicate what a session/price-action-focused SSM IQ tool already shows on the same chart. Its own histogram and activity-zone layers can be turned off individually if a companion, row-precise SSM IQ profile tool is already drawing the equivalent view — an optional SSM IQ AI Telemetry feed is also available if you want to consume the same map programmatically alongside other tools.
TradingView platform, invite-only access delivered after purchase. Uses the OHLCV/intrabar data your TradingView plan and broker/exchange feed provide; the Volume Absorption Radar needs genuine lower-timeframe intrabar data and sits inactive on a 1-second chart, where no lower timeframe exists.
